ATOM New Features and Updates

New updates are available for the ATOM drone. You can update the drone firmware through the PotensicPro App. Updating your drone to the latest firmware version to access the new features. It is recommended to promptly update the firmware when the App prompts that new firmware is available. (Latest: 2023/12/15)

Notes:

Firmware updates take approximately 10 minutes. Gimbals freezing, and drone status indicator lights blinking are normal occurrences, please be patient until the update is completed. The drone and controller may shut down after completed the upgrading, please turn on the power and restart for normal use.
Before performing the update, ensure that the battery has at least 50% charge, and the remote controller battery level is greater than 2 bar.
During the update process, do not disconnect or operate the drone and remote controller(unless you are prompted).
Keep the phone unlocked and stay on the PotensicPro App upgrade interface, and do not make or answer calls.
Do not power off your drone or exit the app during the update process.

New Features:

1.Added Digital Zoom

Distance is no issue, pull everything closer with the digital zoom. It has options for 1x, 2x, and 3x, enabling fast, easy framing of subjects at a long range.

1.1 How to Zoom:

-Tap the zoom icon "

-Long press the zoom icon to enter, and drag the dial plate up and down.

-Pinch in or out on the screen with two fingers to zoom in and out.

2.Added Interval Timer Shooting Mode

Once set, you can take a continuous series of photographs at each specified time interval. You can then create a time-lapse movie from the still images produced by interval shooting using the computer software.

2.1 How to Use Interval Timer Shooting

“ to enter interval timer shooting, then set the shooting interval, and tap the recording button on the app to start to take pictures or press the record button on the RC to start the picture taking. Tap “

” to exit interval timer shooting mode.

Interval: Can be set in a range of [00:00:01]–[00:00:30]

3.Added Options for Disabling Low Battery Beeping from the RC.

Users can short press the power button to disable the beeping.

4.Added Options for Silent Return

During the return of the aircraft, the alert beeping can be muted by a short press of the power button. Alternatively, you can navigate to "Settings—Safety" to find the mute return switch, where you can choose to turn it on or off (default is off). Once activated, the remote controller for the aircraft will no longer emit alert beeping during the return.

5. Added beeping to the remote controller when the target is lost in Visual Tracking.
